CONTENT
Expect a diverse range of sessions covering the full spectrum of modern software development — from inspiring keynotes and in-depth technical talks to real-world case studies, hands-on labs, and forward-thinking practices.
All content is sourced through an open Call for Papers (CFP), reviewed by a team of independent experts alongside a dedicated community panel to ensure a balanced and high-quality programme.
The CFP runs from 1st December to 9th January. If you have a session idea that would inspire or benefit the Devoxx UK audience, we encourage you to submit it.
Selected speakers will be notified later in January.

NOW:
The language that runs the world. Java language, frameworks, libraries, tooling & the ever-evolving JVM ecosystem.
EDGE:
Imagining where the future Java might be in the next decade and beyond.

NOW:
Designing systems at every scale, from monoliths to multi-agent models, with the tools, techniques, and best practices for today’s developer.
EDGE:
As software evolves beyond human patterns, how will architecture and systems thinking adapt, and are there practices we should try to preserve moving into the future

NOW:
Craft, test, secure, ship (hopefully in that order). CI/CD, tooling, defensive engineering, AI-augmented development.
EDGE:
How will practices evolve, and what does it mean in a world of autonomous systems? Will developer craft still play a role? Does code even matter?

NOW:
Dev wellness, leadership, team dynamics, inclusion, and the human side of software, including accessibility and design thinking.
EDGE:
Can AI truly be part of the team? As routine tasks fade, will creativity grow? How will organisations support leadership and learning in human–AI structures?

NOW:
Scaling data systems for high load, real-time analytics, using Machine Learning, and building LLM models.
EDGE:
Exploring the future of data engineering and next-generation analytics.

NOW:
JVM, functional, web, mobile & emerging languages. Tools, libraries and practices.
EDGE:
How will languages fit into the future of programming, or vanish in a post-language era?

NOW:
From DevOps, build pipelines, observability & orchestration through to no-code, agentic workflows & intuitive tools.
EDGE:
Will we evolve beyond pipelines? How will deployment, resilience, and operations transform in a world of autonomous, self-running systems?

NOW:
Weird, wild, and wonderfully cutting-edge, indie projects, quantum hacks, robotics, cybernetics, the bleeding edge of curiosity, and sheer geeky fun.
EDGE:
Imagining a future where science fiction edges closer to reality, and things get even geekier. Think self-evolving machines, bio-inspired runtimes, undiscovered physics, and so much more.
