How Can I Register?

Devoxx UK 2022 tickets are on sale now. 

  • Standard – Conference Pass (3 days) : £675 on sale from 19th March

When is the Call For Papers open?

The CFP is closed for another year. We’ll open the CFP for Devoxx UK 2023 in November

What type of Presentations are there?
  • Conference talks are 50-minute presentations 
  • Keynotes – 20-minute opening keynotes and a 45-minute closing keynote session 
  • Hands-on Labs are 3 hour immersive sessions where you need to bring your laptop, loaded in advance with key tools and software
  • Deep Dive Sessions are 3 hours and delve intensive into a subject
  • Tools in Action are 30 minutes presentations, demonstrating a programming tool
  • Coding Café is a space where developers work together on software improvements; writing a plugin, adding a feature, fixing a bug on an open source project, improved documentation, or better educational materials
  • Byte Size are 15 minute presentations during Lunch breaks 
  • BOF sessions are informal, 60 minutes discussion segments, designed for audience participation 
  • Ignite Sessions are 5 minutes in length and very, very quickfire. 20 slides autoforwarding every 15 seconds

Getting to the Business Design Centre
Local Transport
  • There are many ways to get to the venue including the London Underground, Overground and Bus networks. The nearest tube station Angel, is a five minute walk away allowing you to travel to the Central London within minutes. Just a little further in the opposite direction is Highbury and Islington station, with great underground and overground connections. There are many bus stops near the venue which cover several routes in and around London.
Outside the UK
  • The venue is easily accessible for international visitors with Gatwick, Heathrow, Stanstead and London City Airport providing express train services into central London. Kings Cross St. Pancras International train station is also only a tube stop away and connects London to Europe via the Eurostar.

The local area is well served by hotels. The closest hotels to the event venue are Hilton London Islington and Premier Inn London Islington. A quick search of Hotels.com will also provide a great many results. 

Safety & Comfort
  • Attendees must be fully vaccinated or able to show a negative test result taken within the 24 hours preceding the event start date. 
  • Reduced event and room capacities are in place, with more space between seats than  normal.
  • The wearing of face masks is encouraged.
  • On entry, ceiling mounted thermal imaging cameras will check all attendee’s temperatures. 
  • Deep clean sanitising procedures are in operation throughout the venue, especially in session rooms.
  • Upgraded clean air systems have been installed in the venue and increased ventilation procedures will be in place.
  • Increased corridor spaces and traffic management procedures will limit crowd-ups in normally congested spots. 
  • Hand sanitising points  available throughout the venue.
  • We encourage attendees to take a lateral flow test in the 24 hour period prior to the start of the event.
